After several, very mysterious and very intermittent, association problem between WiFi card on my Centrino powered notebook to Planet WAP-1966, at last I can restore connection by lowering AP's supported rate setting from 1-2-5.5-11-22(Mbps) to 1-2-5.5-11(Mbps). This problem happened on every version of ipw2100 driver I tried.
Maybe this is a chance for me to help development of ipw2100 driver, to be able to connect at 22Mbps if feasible, or make it know how to force rate at 11Mbps otherwise. One itch scratched, another (maybe bigger) one comes ...
